This beautiful hand-painted Russian lacquer miniature was created by the famous artist Zhukova in the village of Fedoskino.

In this unique piece we find Ivan Tsaryevich riding on the back of his friend the wolf. Ivan has succeeded in hastening away from the Tsar with the beautiful maiden in his arms. Ivan's search for the Firebird are not yet over but he is on his way home.
